Setting the Stage It has come to my attention that the world needs more people to throw more parties.

I'm not talking about just any ol'parties, but parties that play on all of the senses. These types of legendary events begin with a lot of planning, and really hard work!
I am not kidding.



Another Fabulous Night at Babalong After hosting some of Vancouver's most legendary and wildy eclectic nights, and after 4 years of event planning and hostessing, I feel it is my duty to raise the bar on the party experience. Might I add that Babalong was never shut down, not even once in it's 4 year history, now that takes some booty!

From the party goer, to the party thrower, everyone deserves the ultimate experience.

I would love to consult anyone who is interested in the following:
  1. Flyer and poster designing.
  2. Learn the power of trade and guestlisting.
  3. Contacts for amazing burlesuqe acts, live musicians, visual artists, jugglers, puppeteers, and DJs.
  4. How to find the best space to meet your needs, and how to negotiate the terms.
  5. How to order precisely the right amount, and variety of booze, juice and water.
  6. Where to buy the cheapest plastic cups, table rentals, nag champa, mix, ice, towels, toilet paper (midnight plummer), decorations, light bulbs, duct tape, gels, etc.
  7. How to get a liquor license and the responsibilities that follow.
  8. How to encourage communication with all the party helpers before, during, and after the party.
  9. How to hostess. This requires some natural social skills, no guarantees on this one.
  10. Contacts for the best and cost effective sound, light and visuals gear.
  11. Contacts for the best security, bartenders, and decorators.
  12. How to not loose your shirt: I will provide sample budget and spreadsheets to account for all expenses in and out.
  13. How to organize the float, and booze pick-up.
  14. Learn how to make a space blissful, warm and wonderful so that everybody feels welcome and safe to explore themselves and others.
  15. How to organize and inspire the clean-up commity! Hahahahahahaha
